HELLO!  If you’ve clicked here it must mean you care about your data privacy and so do I. Here is the info compliant with the GPDR and the low down on how I use your personal data!

personal data I collect

I collect your name, your email address, your mobile number sometimes and  your address if you have booked me for a wedding so I can post your wedding photos to you. All of this is necessary for me to do my job for you.

right of confirmation, access, rectification + erasure

If you feel you need to see the information I have which will be only information you have given me you can email me and I will right it up for you.

If some of the information is wrong, you have the right to correct it, and I would definitely recommend this because neither of us want me turning up at the wrong wedding!

If you’d like me to delete all your personal data, you have the right to request it, but I wouldn’t recommend asking for that before your wedding otherwise my journey to your wedding will become very VERY difficult.

I definitely need to know stuff about you to work for you.  I keep your information until I have delivered all my services contracted to you and then I will delete them. The only thing I will still have access to is your online gallery.

data compliancy

The new EU regulations require me to just look after you guys and look after myself! Obviously i am a small business owner and i have had to make a few changes to how I work but i am more than happy because it is for everyones protection.

If you have any questions please get in contact!

how i collect and store your data

After you fill out my contact form on my website it arrives in an email inbox that is passworded.  If you go ahead with booking me as your photographer, I store your booking confirmation in dropbox which is compliant with GPDR  which is only accessible through one computer and my phone.  If you enquire but don’t book me I delete the emails anyway so your information isn't stored.

I will 100%  use your email to email you about your wedding/couples session/shoot.  I wouldn’t give your email out to anyone else, I also won’t be sending you ANY newsletters or anything else unrelated to you.

After your wedding I might send you a questionnaire for a blog post but only if you have consented to being on the blog in the first place.

the photograpghs

When it comes to your photographs, the EU hasn’t gotten too specific about what that means for working photographers bar that we need to demonstrate reasonable and legitimate use. I can tell you that I won’t sell your photos.

I store photos of you guys on password encrypted hard drives in my house that is obviously secured and also on dropbox which is GPDR compliant.

There’s a couple of things I do to run my business, like show my work on facebook, instagram and my own website so new couples can see what I do. These days social media is one of the best ways for people to find your little business in the big world! If you have booked me you probably looked at my work on these various platforms to make your choice of photographer. When you book me I send you a contract where you can opt in/out of certain ways the photographs are used. It is your responsibility to ask your guests' permission for photographs which we will chat about once you are booked in!
